Case Study: ATLtodo Mobile App Design
PROBLEM
ATLtodo.com was founded in 2011 as a site where Atlantans could find businesses, places of shelter, and food sources that were available during a severe snowstorm also referred to as the “Snowpocolypse.” After the storm, it quickly evolved into a hub for locals to find activities and events going on in and around the city. Since then, however, the website has become infrequently updated and irrelevant to current trends, moods, and events.
Solution
I am proposing a complete redesign of how the website functions. Instead of an article based website in which contributors are required to keep the site updated and active the site should be converted to a user contributed feed. This format would allow an open ended experience that could enable users to create posts that span a variety of growing interests and opportunities.
