The navigation categories and elements nested within them were confusing and not intuitive upon my initial assessment making the learnability quite difficult. Many of the categories did not link to where the user would logically expect to go with several of the options being defunct.

I wanted to structure the navigation into a more intuitive format. I started with figuring out the main functions that OPUS served to fulfill. From there I determined the relationships that each component had to these main functions and began categorizing based on these findings.
